What does design build mean, and how does it work at Hamm’s?
Design build commercial construction means one team manages both the design and construction phases of your project. At Hamm’s, we’re involved from the earliest planning stages through the final day of construction, and we either handle design in-house or coordinate a trusted architectural partner depending on the scope.
Do I need to have my own architect before coming to Hamm’s?
No. Many clients arrive with plans, but plenty don’t. For smaller projects and remodels, Hamm’s can prepare the plans directly. For larger builds that require a licensed architect, we have established relationships across DFW and will coordinate that process on your behalf.
Does Hamm’s handle design for industrial and remodel projects, or only commercial design and construction?
Hamm’s design capabilities apply across all three service areas: commercial construction, industrial construction, and remodel and renovation. Whatever the project type, we can manage the design component and carry it through to a finished build.
